Yoga is for everyone. Not just the young and the bendy. It is about feeling the flow of breath within the body; feeding each cell with consciousness so that we can start to re-inhabit our bodies, reclaiming the parts of ourselves we have exiled, discarded or forgotten about … and if our bodies start to look better, then that’s a wonderful side effect to the central aim of uniting our spirits and freeing our minds.

HATHA FLOW

Grounding, strengthening and healing. Allowing our breath to guide us through a slow and deep flow, before we settle down into longer held poses designed to leave you in a state of calm self-awareness.

YIN YOGA

A powerful practice for self-growth, in a yin class all postures are seated or lying down and are held for sustained periods of time. Physically, this works to target the connective tissues around our joints to heal deep-seated tension. Emotionally, yin yoga challenges us to sit with whatever emotions come up and not run away. Through long held poses, we start to notice the desires, fears, fluctuations and conditioning of the mind. From this place of growing awareness, we can begin the process of re-training our brains to a more mindful way of being.
